Police in Dundee have confirmed that a physique present in woodland final week is that of lacking lady Lynn McPaul.
The 45-year-old was final seen close to Strawberry Financial institution within the metropolis's West Finish on January 23.
Cops launched a high-profile public attraction in a bid to hint her, together with issuing pictures of a Nike jacket she had been seen carrying.
Sadly, officers found a physique on George Pirie Approach, close to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital, final week.
This morning, the pressure have confirmed that the physique is hers.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "We will verify that the physique of a girl present in woodland close to to George Pirie Approach, Dundee, on Saturday, March 12, has been formally recognized as 45-year-old Lynn McPaul.
"Her household have been knowledgeable and request that their privateness is revered at this tough time.
"The demise is just not being handled as suspicious and a full report will probably be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
Tributes have been paid to Lynn on social media.
One lady stated: "RIP Lynn so unhappy ideas are together with her household and everybody who knew her."
One other added: "That's terrible. Coronary heart goes out to all of the household and mates! Rip Lynn."
Lynn’s "bewildered" household had issued an announcement quickly after she vanished begging her to come back residence.
They described her as a “home-loving mum, with a tight-knit group of mates.”
They stated she “is missed terribly by all her household and mates” and would at all times “exit of her means to assist others.”
