Kirkcudbright Golf Club ladies thank former member for decades of fundraising

Kirkcudbright Golf Membership girls have thanked a former member for all her fundraising efforts in help of native good causes.

For greater than 30 years Flora McGowan has requested girls who tee off on a Tuesday all through the winter months for a £1 donation.

All monies acquired are handed over to native charities as soon as the winter season finishes.

And final week the women introduced Flora with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of all her good work.
