A wildfire has fully destroyed an enormous space of grassland in Falkirk.
The blaze broke out on land close to Reilly Highway in Bonnybridge at round 4pm on Friday March 25.
Firefighters spent hours battling flames which lined roughly 500m x 500m.
Footage confirmed a lot of fireplace engines and specialist groups on the scene.
A Scottish Fireplace and Rescue Service spokesperson stated: "We have been alerted at 4pm on Friday, 25 March to stories of a hearth within the open close to Reilley Highway, Bonnybridge.
"Operations Management mobilised six home equipment and specialist assets, together with an all-terrain automobile, to the scene to extinguish a big grass fireplace overlaying roughly 500m x 500m.
"Crews left later that night after making the realm protected."
