Hero Scots dad driving over 1,500 miles to deliver aid to Ukrainians fleeing war

A hero Scots dad is driving over a 1,500 miles to Poland in a truck crammed with very important help for Ukrainians fleeing conflict.

Piotr Dziedzic, together with pal Robert Dluzac, will drive huge vans filled with donations to the Polish border, studies Edinburgh Dwell.

The pair, together with Piotr's daughter Karolina, have been coordinating collections throughout Edinburgh, Berwick upon Tweed and Kelso.

Karolina, who lives in Edinburgh, mentioned: "My dad works in Lemon and Thyme restaurant in Kelso, Scottish Borders the place folks can drop issues off and his buddy has Star Laundry in Berwick his title is Robert.
