Pat Strachan has been given the Order of Mercy Award from the League of Mercy Basis, awarded in honour of her devoted and tireless dedication to volunteering at Accord.
With the much-loved Paisley hospice celebrating its fortieth anniversary this yr, Pat was an early adopter of the motion and has been an lively fundraiser, supporter and volunteer in varied kinds over her 35 years.
As one of many leaders on the inception of the Paisley Buddies of Accord group, Pat led and co-ordinated many fundraising occasions and initiatives and has secured appreciable quantities of monetary help for the Hospice over time.
