The Ben Nevis rescue crew have hit out after their emergency shelter on the summit was used as a garbage bin and bathroom.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue Crew have slammed hillwalking louts who trashed the lifeline facility, which is used for treating casualties and storing rescue tools.
Mercy crews took to Fb to spotlight the problem as they posted photos of the mess.
The shelter might be seen lined in litter, with tins and wrappers discarded on the bottom.
The partitions is also seen to be lined in graffiti - and one hiker informed how they might scent urine inside the ability.
The Lochaber crew stated: "We’d identical to to emphasize that the summit shelter on Ben Nevis is for emergency use solely and never for having lunch inside.
