‘Windrow’ plows never there when you need them

You shovel the driveway. After which the plow comes by, Jan. 24

“Windrow” clearing in Richmond Hill is a can of worms. The idea sounds nice, however the implementation leaves loads to be desired. The windrow (heaped-up snow) plows don’t even come out till the road plows have completed.

Consequently, if you might want to get in or out of your driveway (as you possibly can’t park on the road in a single day), the one choice is to shovel.

Why don’t the windrow plows comply with simply behind the road plows?

I've by no means had my windrow cleared, and I imagine that this system is a whole waste of taxpayers dollars.

Maintain it for seniors or those that have bodily points that stop them from doing the work themselves. Good luck Toronto!
