This can be a classical case of Animal Farm’s “All animals are equal, however some are extra equal than others.”
Is the liberty of the so-called freedom convoy truckers greater than the liberty of the overwhelming majority of Canadians? If the goal is to “ship a message” — and I can’t work out what the message is — to the federal government, I ask, what has occurred to snail mail, e-mail and a delegation of two or three individuals?
Will the truckers take accountability for lack of lives if ambulances are prevented from lawful use of the roads? And what's going to the truckers do after they get to Ottawa — trigger chaos, disruption of life and pointless confrontation?
