Staffing shortages, COVID-19 lead to postponement of B.C. provincial exams

VICTORIA - British Columbia’s Schooling Ministry says commencement assessments for college students in grades 10 to 12 won't happen this month as a result of COVID-19.

The ministry says in a press release that staffing points have considerably affected the administration of the assessments.

The ministry says it'll present an exemption to Grade 12 college students graduating early within the college 12 months.

It provides that's has labored with post-secondary establishments to make sure that admissions won't be affected by these modifications.

The ministry says the information might trigger concern for college students and promised that every one Grade 12 college students will graduate on time, each for early commencement and June commencement, so long as all different commencement necessities are met.

The exams will probably be pushed to a later date, at present scheduled for April and June.
