ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — A scholar was shot at a Maryland highschool Friday afternoon and a suspect was in custody, police mentioned.

A male scholar was shot on campus at Magruder Excessive Faculty in Rockville, Montgomery County police mentioned in a tweet. The college was locked down.

The injured scholar was taken to a hospital, police mentioned, however didn't point out his situation.
