Hibs star Ryan Porteous has been charged in reference to an alleged assault outdoors a nightspot in Edinburgh.
A lady was injured after being struck by a missile close to Dalkeith Miners Membership in Woodburn within the early hours of Sunday.
She is known to have required hospital therapy after the incident outdoors the venue recognized domestically as The Woodburn.
A 22-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in reference to the alleged assault.
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: "A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in reference to an assault.
"Round 2.05am on Sunday, 20 February, 2022, police obtained a report of a girl being injured within the Woodburn Street space of Dalkeith.
"The 22-year-old man is topic of a report back to the procurator fiscal. He has been launched on an enterprise and can seem at a later date."
