Five-year-old dies in hospital after house fire in Winnipeg: police

WINNIPEG - Police in Winnipeg say a five-year-old has died after a home hearth within the metropolis that despatched 9 individuals to hospital.

The kid, one in all 5 kids within the house, was in important situation when taken to hospital on Thursday.

Police say the 4 adults and remaining kids, who vary in age from one to early teenagers, are secure in hospital.

The Winnipeg Hearth Paramedic Service has mentioned crews have been referred to as to a single-storey home within the West Finish neighbourhood.

There was heavy smoke coming from the home and it took greater than 20 minutes to get the blaze below management.
