All Clarington colleges that fall beneath the Kawartha Pine Ridge District College Board can be closed Wednesday because the fallout from Monday’s large snowstorm continues.
The KPRDSB introduced its choice to shut Clarington colleges to college students and workers in an Jan. 18 on-line publish.
“We proceed to observe the situations inside all our areas with respect to highschool operations, ongoing snow elimination and climate forecasts of extra snow this (Tuesday) night and in a single day,” stated the college board. “In session with the Municipality of Clarington about their ongoing snow elimination efforts, and the forecast for extra snow (Tuesday) night and tomorrow, we have now made the choice that... all colleges within the Municipality of Clarington can be closed to college students and workers... Wednesday, January 19, and can pivot to distant studying.”
