An appalling rate of death on Toronto streets

Toronto police investigate a shooting. We need a collective war on drugs and guns, which go together, writes Alan Brackley.

Teen useless, one other harm in two shootings, Jan. 23

Nineteen-year-old Malachi Elijah Bainbridge of Toronto turned town’s ninth murder sufferer of the 12 months.

Not in twelve months.

Solely the twenty second day of January.

Do the mathematics! That’s 22 divided by 9. One murder within the metropolis of Toronto each 2.44 days.

One thing must accomplished. And accomplished quickly.

Chiefs of police, mayors, premiers, and the prime minister must work collectively to eradicate these mindless deaths.

We want a collective battle on medicine and weapons, which go collectively.

Make Canada secure once more!
