Another day, another Lincoln Riley rumor.
Saturday night, Oklahoma’s head coach shot down the idea that he will be the next head coach of the LSU Tigers football program.
“I’m not going to be the next head coach at LSU,” Riley said.
Oklahoma lost to Oklahoma State on Saturday night. Riley made his declaration shortly following his team’s regular season finale loss.
Could another program come into play, though?
The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman suggested on Sunday morning that USC could be next to make a big play for Riley.
“Would not be surprised if USC took a big swing to try and pry Lincoln Riley away from OU now,” he tweeted.

USC has been linked to Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell, though it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen.
It would likely take a Brinks truck to pry Riley away from Oklahoma, but perhaps the Trojans are ready to make a huge commitment.
