Two in hospital after 'jumping' from window to escape fire at Lanarkshire flat

Two individuals are in hospital after they have been pressured to leap from a flat window following a horror blaze on Sunday.

A big-scale emergency service response to the incident in East Kilbride's Murray space noticed police, the hearth service and ambulance race to the scene this afternoon.

Police confirmed two individuals have been taken to Wishaw Normal Hospital after leaping from a flat.

A police supply informed Lanarkshire Dwell : "We have been referred to as at round 2.10pm on Sunday (November 6) after receiving a report of a fireplace at a constructing in Denholm Inexperienced, East Kilbride.

"Emergency companies attended and two individuals have been taken to Wishaw Normal after leaping from a flat.
