Plans to create an eco-village in Kilwinning are set to be explored by North Ayrshire Council.
Councillors are anticipated to approve plans to undertake a feasibility research on the potential of the ‘village’ in Blair Highway at a Cupboard assembly on Tuesday, September 27.
Land earmarked for the potential venture has been vacant since 2019 when the Hazeldene Centre and operations moved to the Trindlemoss facility in Irvine.
