Police discovered a hid blade on a person who was appearing suspiciously in Kilmarnock yesterday.
Cops detained the 30-year-old after appearing on a report of a male appearing in a suspicious method in Low Glencairn Avenue within the city.
Officers searched the person and a hid bladed weapon was present in his possession.
Police confirmed right this moment the person was arrested in reference to the offence and held in custody for courtroom.
A spokesperson for East Ayrshire Police tweeted: "Following a report yesterday of a male appearing in a suspicious method, native officers detained a 30-year-old male in Low Glencairn Avenue, Kilmarnock.
"He was searched and a hid bladed weapon was discovered on his possession. The male was arrested and held custody for courtroom."
