A person is in hospital with critical head and eye accidents after being violently attacked in Glasgow metropolis centre. The 42-year-old had been on Argyle Road, close to the Sainsbury's Native retailer in Trongate earlier than he was pounced on at 3.10pm on Saturday, July 2.
