A hospital cleaner has admitted spitting in a police officer’s eye stating he “might be ruffled with all kinds.”
Vile Aidan Bowie, 23, was taken to the A&E division of the Royal Alexandra Hospital on July 11, final 12 months after a member of the general public noticed him drunkenly stroll down the center of the highway in the direction of oncoming visitors.
After refusing therapy on the hospital, Bowie of Murray Place in Barrhead, was arrested and spat at PC Laura Gardner within the eye.

Prosecutor David McDonald advised Paisley Sheriff Courtroom: “Shortly after midnight, PC Elliott was within the accident and emergency division of the Royal Alexandra Hospital as a consequence of an unrelated matter.
“PC Elliott was spoken to by a member of public who had taken the accused to the hospital as she had considerations for his welfare.
“The accused was closely intoxicated and the member of the general public had discovered him in the course of the highway strolling in the direction of incoming visitors.”
Courtroom heard PC Elliott made a number of makes an attempt to have interaction with out-of-control Bowie, as did a number of members of hospital workers.
As a result of Bowie’s “deterioration” in behaviour, he was arrested and brought to an area police station.

Mr McDonald added: “Bowie then replied, ‘Properly I dunno, trigger I’ve been pumping all kinds so I might be riddled with all kinds.’
“Mr Bowie was reminded of the severity of the matter and he acknowledged, ‘I don’t know.’”
Defence solicitor Rhona Lynch advised how the Queen Elizabeth Hospital cleaner had no earlier convictions and stories could also be obligatory.
On sentencing, Sheriff Brian Mohan advised the courtroom: “You’ve no earlier convictions, and also you’re 23.
