Police have been referred to as to take care of an ongoing ‘incident’ at a prepare station in West Lothian.
ScotRail is warning commuters to count on delays on the busy line after each platforms at Uphall station had been locked down by officers shortly earlier than 5pm on Friday.
The rail operator tweeted: “As a result of police coping with an incident at Uphall station, our providers between Bathgate and Edinburgh shall be delayed or revised.”
In a separate message, they added: “Each platforms have been closed at Uphall station whereas we assist the emergency providers.
“Resulting from this, providers will bypass Uphall till additional discover.”

A British Transport Police spokesperson stated: "Officers had been referred to as to Uphall station at 4.16pm on 11 March following stories that a lady had been assaulted.
